Our new nonprofit charter school is set to open in Fall 2025 in Bolivar County, Mississippi, serving 4th and 5th-grade students. Over time, we will grow into a vibrant 4th–12th grade school community. Our mission is to enhance education for local students through a rigorous, internationally inspired curriculum enriched with technology, cultural exploration, and active community engagement.

What is Mississippi Global Academy?
Mississippi Global Academy (Mississippi Global) is a nonprofit charter school serving students in grades 4-12 in the Mississippi Delta region. Mississippi Global is tuition free and open to the public. We aim to provide a high-quality, internationally-focused education that equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.

Mississippi Global Academy is a community school with strong ties to Bolivar County. Students will also engage with their local community through our service learning program. Service learning at Mississippi Global Academy enables students to choose an issue that they are passionate about and collaborate with their peers to make the community, nation, and world a better place.

The Mississippi Global governing board brings diverse expertise in education, nonprofit management, community engagement, business, law, and operating high-performing charter schools. Their deep understanding of the local community positions the school for success in opening and sustaining a transformative educational option for students in the Mississippi Delta.

Mississippi Global Academy is a tuition-free charter school open to all students in Boliver County, Shaw, MS and surrounding areas.

Requests for Proposals
Mississippi Global Academy invites all interested and qualified vendors to submit proposals for the following services: project manager, architect, general contractor, IT, transportation, and janitorial for our new location in Shaw, MS.
Interested parties should send an email to t.porter@msglobalacademy.org indicating in the subject line which service you are interested in, and to request additional details.
Proposals are due by 5:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
